Intelligent License Tags

Every year millions of vehicles are registered, and with the growing number of vehicles, vehicle theft and related crimes are increasing rapidly. Therefore reliable vehicle identification is becoming more and more important to maintain public safety.

UTSCH has recognised this growing need and recommends using the so-called "Third License Plate" in addition to the security license plate. The "Third License Plate" or "License Tag" is a small sticker that contains the same information as the license plate – and much more! As this "license tag" is placed on the inside of the vehicle windshield, it is out of reach of unauthorized persons. Additional security is provided through the self-destructive diffraction foil. Any attempt to remove the tag will irrevocably damage it, thus preventing its misuse.

This "Third License Plate" is also available with an integrated chip, the so-called "intelligent license tag" or iltag.
